The reason for this is the “ideal taste experience”, as the GetränkeZeitung writes in its January issue. Almost 4,000 beverage stores throughout Germany took part in the trade magazine's survey.
“This is a great success. Our employees have played a very important role in this, thanks to their commitment under difficult conditions,” says Alexander Reiss, Operations and Sales Manager at the Andechs Monastery Brewery. “We are very pleased that we have met the taste of the times with our alcohol-free beer. It shows once again that we, as the Andechs Monastery Brewery, successfully stand for tradition and innovation. It pays off to stand together and boldly present ourselves on the market as the “Klosterbrauerei Andechs”.”
The award is based on the annual survey conducted by the Getränke-Zeitung. At the end of the year, the trade magazine asks about the success of new product launches and the best-sellers of the year in the beverage wholesale trade and its retailers. The beverages that were most in demand in the individual segments according to sales figures were counted.
Although non-alcoholic, “Andechser Hell Alkoholfrei” is a real, full-bodied beer. Alexander Reiss is still delighted with the brewing innovation that he and his team of master brewers have achieved. “We have gone through an exciting development phase. The valuable suggestions and advice of the monks of the monastery are now paying off. Only in this way was it possible to create a completely new non-alcoholic beer.” In terms of flavor, the non-alcoholic Helles, with its pronounced malt body and recognizable hint of hops, is clearly in the tradition of the monastic art of brewing on the Holy Mountain of Bavaria.
A unique, full-bodied, non-alcoholic Helles with a genuine beer flavor, gently de-alcoholized using an innovative process at low temperatures. Its aroma is characterized by soft malt notes and biscuit, harmoniously paired with floral hop aromas. An amazing malty body framed by a fine, dry hop bitterness that encourages you to keep drinking.
