It's Weizenbock-time again
The Weizenbock is available as a typical seasonal speciality from October to February and is only brewed and bottled at the foot of the Holy Mountain.
A character bock
With a strong honey colour, the Andechs Weizenbock draws the eye. A structured yeast cloudiness and an opulent and fine-pored head round off the visual appearance. Striking fruit aromas of banana, mango, apricot and pear, underlaid with spicy aromatic notes such as clove and nutmeg surprise the nose. The body is strong but still soft. Thus, the Weizenbock remains wonderfully tangy and refreshing to drink. A perfect interplay of subtle fruit acidity, light honey sweetness and a subtle hop bitterness leads to a harmoniously fruity finish.
