The Andechs Monastery is a spiritual, economic and cultural centre well known and loved all over Bavaria and beyond. The Holy Mount, as it is called, is the perfect combination of Benedictine hospitality, Baroque culture and the Bavarian way of life - a symbiosis that has become the monastery's trademark.
The basis of this success is the consistency with which the Bendedictine approach to life and work has been put into pratice.
